Nice, welcoming atmosphere and excellent food and service. My wife and I came for breakfast and were impressed by the kind employees, the solid food and the overall vibe.

We ordered breakfast to-go for pickup. It was easy to order through their website. Our food was ready at the expected time. We ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon and the breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Inside the breakfast burrito was scrambled eggs, has browns, black beans, and cheese in a soft flour tortilla. It came with a side of salsa. The breakfast burrito was delicious! I would have loved avocado with it. The salsa added a great flavor to the burrito. The breakfast sandwich on the croissant was more plain and bland. It needed some aioli or sauce on it. The croissant was fluffy and soft. We would order the burrito again because we really liked it! This place has great breakfast/brunch options.

So yummy and great location! Literally just steps from either the beach or bay! Breakfast was delicious! The cinnamon roll French toast was so good with sliced banana, strawberries and sprinkled with powdered sugar ! The Açaí bowl was tasty with fresh fruit! And the chef scramble had crispy and well seasoned potatoes, had bacon cheese and other yummy ingredients! It was quick and you can order ahead as well! If you are in the area this is a must for breakfast/brunch!

Ambiance was delightful. Outside seating. You order your food and seat yourself. The service was friendly and the food was pretty good. The basic beach breakfast for my 7 year old was perfect. They added chocolate chips to his pancakes. The Cali-Bunga Burrito was delicious. I'm not a huge hash brown in my burritos but for the most part it tasted good. No burnt potatoes. :) The Cinnamon Roll Toast didn't stand a chance. I could barely get a full picture of the meal. He said it tasted good. No soggy toast and had a good flavor.

A cute mom-and-pop breakfast joint about two blocks from the beach. This is a order/pay and sit-down establishment so its a no-frills vibe. I got to try the breakfast burrito with sausage. It came with a side of tortilla chips and salsa. Overall, the breakfast burrito was filling and just for $14, it can easily be two meals. The service was quick and I love the olive designs in the restroom. It really adds to the Olive Cafe character. I'd recommend also checking out their Olive bakery across the street at the corner. There is a cute chocolate lab that hangs over the fence who you can give treats to!

We originally planned to go the Mission Cafe but that place was way too busy, so we spotted the Olive cafe just a few blocks away. It's a quaint little cafe with a large patio area. For a small cafe, they have lots of options. We ordered via their online app, and there's lots of customization options. I got the breakfast quesadilla with hash browns. It was delicious with a slightly crispy outside. There's avocado, eggs, mushrooms and bacon. It was very large; enough to share. The hash browns were also crispy outside and tender inside. Hubby got the breakfast burrito and really enjoyed it too. This is a nice spot for breakfast or lunch.

Stopped by after Kayaking in mission bay. This is a really cute hole-in-the-wall Cafe that was absolutely great, perfect for post exercise chilling. It's all mostly outdoor seating but there are some available seats inside. The service is at the counter but they bring the food out to you! I got the breakfast burrito with chicken and peppers, which was super good. I never thought chicken in a breakfast burrito would be good but it was rock solid. For drink I got an ice caramel latte which was so refreshing! I would definitely recommend checking this place out!
